Bastien Girod, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH), Switzerland
Bastien Girod holds since a PhD of environmental science from ETH Zurich. Currently he works as Post-Doc at the Institute for Natural Science and Social Science Interface (ETH Zurich). In July 2010 he will join the Utrecht Center for Earth and Sustainability (Utrecht University). Research areas are LCA, GHG emission of household consumption, rebound effects and long-term climate scenarios.
2007 Bastien Girod got elected as National Council and since then he is also a member of the Swiss Committee for the Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy.
