Mr. Haifeng Huang, doctor degree by Humboldt University in Berlin. Since 2003, he has been a member of editorial board of American Magazine International Management Review, board member of Chinese Society for Environment Sciences, board member of Society of Management Science of China, vice president of the US based Association of Sino-American Finance Professionals. In 2003, he was engaged as the Deputy Director of the Beijung WTO Affairs Research & Consulting Center, and in 2004 he was awarded with the qualification as distinguished professor for higher education school subordinated to Beijing Municipality, and from 2006 to 2008 he has been selected as candidate of the Ten Million New Century Talents Project. In 2007 he was awarded the Qualification Certificate for Circular Economy Expert by the division of Technology, Industry and Economics under United Nations Environment Programme, the Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Center on Sustainable Consumption and Production in Germany, the Environment Policy Research Center under the Ministry of National Environment Protection.
At present, he is serving as supervisor of the Ministry of Land and Resources, Director of the China Research Center for Economic Transition in Beijing University of Technology, chairman of the China Academic Communication Department in Humboldt University in Berlin. In2008, he served as member of Central Committee of Population, Resources and Environment under China National Democratic Construction Association, and in the same year he took up the post as chief consultant in the Ecological Development Union International. In 2009, he served as chairman on Chinese Side in the International Conference on Green Economy and Energy-Saving & Emission-Reduction under China-Europa Forum, and member of Expert Committee of United Nations Environment Programme.
The main research topics covered by professor Haifeng Huang are sustainable development, green economy, circular economy and low-carbon economy. In recent years he has taken charge of such key research related to Circular Economy Mechanism, Circular Economy System, Policy on Energy-Saving & Emission Reduction under Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of National Environment Protection. He has served as editor in chief for such academic monographs as Economic Transition at Regional Level, Circular Economy in Germany, An Introduction to the Second Industry and Circular Economy, The Creative Path of China’s Economy, among which, the academic monograph of Circular Economy in Germany has been granted Excellent Achievement Awards for Scientific Research of higher Education Institution by Ministry of Education.
